How to Check It Works

Use a free NFC reader app on a phone with NFC. Hold a contactless card to the back of the phone and confirm it's detected. Then slide the card fully into a sleeve and try again: the phone shouldn't read it.

Honest Notes

• Sleeves cover 13.56 MHz contactless cards only. They don't block phones, GPS, car key fobs or 125 kHz proximity badges.
• A card only counts as covered when it's fully inside the sleeve.
• These are card-size sleeves; a passport needs a passport-size sleeve or pouch.
• You'll need to take a card out to tap and pay. Sleeves wear with daily use, so replace any that tear.
