Faraday Bag for Car Keys - Fireproof RFID Shielding Pouch
RFID Blocking Card – 2 Pack | Dual Wallet Protection
Leather Faraday Bag Key Fob - 2 Pack
A fiberglass Faraday pouch with a shielding-cloth lining, in four sizes from key-fob size up to 33 × 26 cm (13 × 10.2 in). Sealed, it blocks the keyless-entry signal from a car fob, stops a phone from ringing or connecting, and keeps contactless cards from being read. Choose the small size for keys, a middle size for a phone, and the largest for a tablet or documents.
Sizing
| Size | In inches | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| 14 × 9 cm | 5.5 × 3.5 in | One or two car key fobs, or cards |
| 20 × 12 cm | 7.9 × 4.7 in | Most phones (check yours in its case), or fobs plus cards |
| 27 × 20 cm | 10.6 × 7.9 in | Small tablets, e-readers, passports |
| 33 × 26 cm | 13 × 10.2 in | Full-size tablets, documents, some compact laptops; measure first |
Pick a size with room to spare: the opening has to close fully over what's inside.
Details
- Material: fire-resistant fiberglass outer with shielding-cloth lining
- In the box: 1 pouch in the size you choose
- Also works as: a slim wallet for cards and cash
How to Check It Works
Put your fob inside, seal it, stand next to your car and try the door handle. No response means it's working. For a phone, seal it in and call it from another phone; it should say the call can't be connected.
Honest Notes
- Blocking works only while the pouch is fully sealed.
- This addresses relay attacks on keyless entry. It doesn't stop OBD-port attacks or break-ins.
- Cars with UWB (ultra-wideband) keyless entry may not need a pouch. See how to check your car.
- Fire resistance buys time; it doesn't make the contents immune to a fire.
