Silver Fiber Shielding Fabric — Stretchy, Washable (DIY)

A stretchy, washable conductive fabric woven with 100% silver fiber — the flexible material behind shielded garments, pouch linings and DIY builds. It attenuates RF signals passing through the fabric, and because it stretches and drapes, it suits sewn projects that rigid mesh can't handle.

Honest Notes

• It attenuates — it doesn't eliminate. Performance depends on coverage, overlap and how completely you enclose whatever you're shielding. Gaps and seams are where shielding fails.
• We don't publish a dB rating for this fabric. We have no independent RF-attenuation lab report for it and won't invent one — see shielding effectiveness for why unsourced numbers are meaningless.
• Wash gently. No bleach and no fabric softener — softener coats the fibers and reduces conductivity. Air dry.
• Test your build. Wrap a phone fully and call it; no ring means the enclosure is working.
